The client's much-loved family home needed to freshened up; completely renovated and exquisitely finished, a generous extension to provide space for modern family living and a much needed connection with the beautiful mature garden. The entire house was considered, from the front door all the way to the bedrooms upstairs: the entrance hall was refurbished and brightened up, the existing narrow stairs removed and replaced with a much more generous stairwell open to the floor above. Living space was added to the rear of the house, at a lower level to bring it closer to the garden, and a new master bedroom suite added above.
